A Dorset Dawn

I’ve been down in Dorset for a couple of days, revisiting some favourite places and trying to top up the old portfolio.

Here’s one from very early this morning. I got to the cliffs about 45 minutes before the sun rose, just as the first tinges of colour were showing in the sky. It was a beautiful, peaceful morning, with only the sound of the seagulls and the wind to keep me company. I took this shot about 25 minutes before the sun crept up above the Isle of Wight, barely visible on the horizon.

I’ll post more photos from Dorset once I have had a chance to sift through them all. Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy this, one of Dorset’s finest views.
